~ Wordless Wednesday (almost) ~

It's May 11,2011.  Right?  Spring is here, right?  Or at least IWordless Wednesday
thought it was here.  Yesterday I even wrote a post about Spring being here, entitled Change Is Coming - I Can Feel It.  Yesterday was a beautiful day here in the Denver area.  It was in the mid 70's and sunny.  This weekend was sunny and hot, in the 80's.  This morning I woke up to rain and fog.  But as time wore on (only a matter of about 10 minutes), that rain turned into snow!  I couldn't resist taking a quick barefooted walk in the fresh snow!

The fog on my way into work was so thick, cars were driving very slowly due to the lack of visibility.  Now it is the afternoon and the fog has lifted.  There is no snow.  But the rain has continued.  My yard is appreciating the water and I am saving the expense of watering it!

Isn't spring unpredictable?  It doesn't matter what part of the country you live in.  Usually, in Denver, they say, if you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes and it will change.  But not today.  We are getting an entire day of rain.   Tomorrow is another day and we are for-casted to have nice weather and the sun will be back in town.

I hope wherever you are, you are enjoying your weather!  If not, make the most of it.  Afterall, you can't change the weather!

Dawn, barefoot in the snow looks like a lot of fun...once back in Maywood, Illinois at Proviso East High School just days before school let out for the summer I saw flurries in the air...nothing accumulated but there were flakes in the air just the same.

I'm trying to figure out if you were dancing out there in the snow...

Dawn, we have had the same thing here.  It was in the upper 80's last week.  Then it got cloudy and very windy.  Now today it is back up into the 80's.  At least it doesn't snow here.  Oh, by the way you must have some cold feet!

Dawn, I always find it weird in the spring when it can go from 40 overnight to 80 the next day.  We had quite a few tornados and tornado sightings yesterday.  Better snow than your roof gone!  Great footprints by the way. Cold but creative.

Every year I walk out in the snow barefoot. Makes you feel alive. This past winter was the first time that I had company. All 3 of my daughters came out with me. And one of them said "Let's do it again!"

Brrrrr, your toes must have been frozen!  It's rainy and gray in Seattle if that makes you feel any better.  I see our members in HI and FL posting pictures of the beaches and oceans....sigh....

Dawn, love the picture with your foot prints.  It was a shock to the system indeed to awake to such cold temps this morning after such a beautiful day yesterday.  We needed the rain......but the snow?
