ActiveRain sold, goodbye and a word of warning for users??? May she Rest in Peace......

ActiveRain Online Real Estate CommunityI just logged in to my facebook account to read a link a former colleague of mine posted from Agent Genius: ActiveRain sold, goodbye and a word of warning for users - Developing.  We all know that Jon Washburn left to pursue the Daily Ticket and we wished him well but what is the rest of the nonsense in the Agent Genius article? A $60,000 Eulogy for ActiveRain written by Jorgen Hahn, former CTO, VP, Product Development, ActiveRain - I'm not even sure I know who Jorgen Hahn is but I'm sure there's much more behind the scenes at ActiveRain than I know of.

So what's the deal?  Has ActiveRain been sold?  Should we say goodbye?  I'm still not sure what the word of warning for users is?  Will ActiveRain Rest in Peace somewhere in cyberheaven???

HELP!!!!

That's for the update. I'm anxious to hear the story on this one. That's for being cutting age with the information.

David and John, I thought someone from AR would comment on this - maybe they will and just haven't yet.  Interesting though, isn't it?  I'm curious of the outcome or if just 2 people left the company and the rest is nonsense?

Gina,

Just a little drama on a slow news day.

Jorgan grabbed two beers and hit the chute.

Gina - I read that post too and what I took from it is that we need to start protecting our blog posts.  I, for one, am going to start importing more of my blog posts to my wordpress blog.  That way if AR does start going downhill, I will still have all of my blog posts on my own blog site.
