Learn a Little Gardening and Get a Book ~ FREE
When my two favorite pastimes plan a meeting together then it has got to be good.
In this case it is the Camarillo Library and Gardening with the Ventura County Master Gardeners.
The Camarillo library located at 4101 Las Posas Road Camarillo, CA 93010, is holding a series of garden information talks that I think will appeal to the local residents.
It is held in the Community Room on Tuesday Evenings from 6:00-7:30 PM.
On 5/17/2011, Master Gardener Julian Hoyle will discuss "Vegetable Gardening". He will show how to “Grow your own grub – vegetable gardening for the beginner and expert.”
On 5/24/2011 Master Gardener Julian Hoyle will discuss "Tomato Culture". Julian Hoyle returns to share his extensive knowledge about all things related to tomato culture during what is certain to be a very popular lecture on “The joy of home grown tomatoes.”
On 5/31/2011 Master Gardener Carol Haverty will discuss "Seventeen Steps to Sustainable Landscape Design." She was recently awarded a scholarship to attain the “Sustainable Landscape Expert” designation from the UCCE State Sustainable Landscape initiative.
The Camarillo Library website. Join the library and have access to all the books, including gardening ones! With a library card, you may borrow any book for free.
Here is the Master Gardener website.
If you are looking to upgrade your garden and the house that goes with it, and if it involves Camarillo Real Estate or Ventura County Real Estate in general, please give me a call.
