The sun will rise tomorrow.
The sun will rise tomorrow for the ActiveRain Community.
And for Bob Stewart.
And Jon Washburn.
For all the hard-working ActiveRain staff.
It will rise tomorrow for Jorgen Hahn.
For the folks at Market Leader, too, as they pick their way through pieces of the puzzle.
The sun will rise for we ActiveRain professionals who are members of this wonderful community, who patiently hang in there as the landscape changes beneath our feet, and as we watch, unwilling witnesses to a situation where business and personal worlds collide, and some portions of some worlds unravel a little, sometimes in less than attractive fashion.
Hoping friends stay friends.....
The sun will rise tomorrow.
The sun will rise for we agents and loan originators and home inspectors, stagers and contractors, real estate website and SEO vendors.
It will rise for all. If we let it. And we should anticipate the dawn eagerly. To start a new day. To strive. To succeed, or to build another stepping stone to success.
The sky may be overcast. And behind the overcast, there will be blue sky, and a brilliant sun, awaiting its turn to dry and warm and comfort us in our endeavors. But sometimes we have to ponder the clouds, shadows and darkness. We can't always take the sun for granted, even though we always know it is there. How that works is a bit of a mystery to me. But, as would be a life without challenges, sunrises and sunsets without clouds are a little monotonous.
I plan, and hope fervently, that the sun will rise for me tomorrow. To shine on my face. and to make the green North Carolina landscape more lush, more verdant, warmer and softer. To feed the circle of life from microscopic to bugs, to birds, cats and dogs, and to my good neighbors and colleagues.
And I have bigger plans. For, sometime after dawn tomorrow, I will look at my Sweetie, and sincerely and fondly thank her profusely for hanging in with me for 38 years. Through thick and thin, just as we both promised. Whether I deserve her or not. And I certainly hope I do. I try to deserve her.
There will be chocolates; maybe even flowers. I will be grateful if she will receive them.
