Using Facebook to get real estate leads?

By
Real Estate Agent with Chapman Real Estate Group

Most people get on Facebook cause, "thats where the people are". Agents tend to misunderstand how Facebook actually works and how it can be most effective.

For example what is most valuable; a status update, a photo/video or a link? (The answer is in the article.)

I came across a link that perfectly articulates the "Facebook EdgeRank". Click through below and you won't have to guess about how facebook works anymore.

"Whether it’s that loosely connected “friend” who’s faded off into obscurity, or brands looking to make the biggest impact, Facebook’s EdgeRank holds all power of visibility. While we’ll never know the true mechanics behind the ultra-secret formula, there are a few key steps that can greatly improve your overall Facebook exposure." http://thenextweb.com/socialmedia/2011/05/09/everything-you-need-to-know-about-facebook%E2%80%99s-edgerank/

Enjoy!

Sean

Thanks, this is a valuable bit of info. I get several leads a month from Facebook, the nice thing is I don't have to be cheesy doing it;)
