Last Sunday I had an Open House & I had 11 buyers view the home. The home did go under agreement & I have some good buyer leads. I also established myself in a great neighborhood. Good thing I was ready for them. I had my assistant & a loan officer and we were busy the entire time. Here is what I did to get such a great response.
Put up Open house signs the Monday before the Open House with day & time for neighbors to see
Alerted Agents & flagged it in the MLS
Advertised in local newspaper
Blogged on Active Rain Put in Craigslist & Zillow
Sent postcards to neighbors with a photo of the home ( this was the nicest home in the neighborhood) This gave me my best response & the buyer is a neighbor wanting to trade up. I always have buyers sign in & on the sheet I ask how they found out about the open house.
Put out lots of arrow signs & balloons the day of.
Do you have any different ideas that give you a good response at an Open House?
