Saturday May 14 2011 National Food Drive - Thanks To Letter Carriers

Thanks for the heads up....and if you go to Campbell's Soup Company will donate one pound of food for every Facebook user who goes to the Stamp Out Hunger page and hits "Like".

Gloria, I usually leave a bag of stuff for them to pick up. We didn't get a notice from our carrier this year. We're at the new house and I"ve had my doubts about him anyway. Leaves the wrong mail all the time. :)

Just received my postcard in the mail the other day. I'll be contributing as I do every year.

We did a Thanksgiving food drive for the local food bank this year outside a local grocery store, and the wind chill factor on our four hour watch was ten below.

This will be a breeze!

Gloria - the National Association of Letter Carriers STAMP OUT HUNGER Food Drive sounds like an excellent cause and they have made it so easy, I can't imagine anyone not participating. Great localism post!

Gloria, it can't get easier than stuffing your mailbox with food to be picked up.  The mail carriers are doing a great job, they volunteer a lot of extra time doing it as well as they have to put all those donations away while still delivering mail.
