What do you think? Did staging matter here?  What house would you rather come see?  Yes, this is the same condo in both the before and the after photos.  Does neutralizing paint matter? Does trying to evoke a feeling, matter?  Is it a mechanism of just putting stuff in a corner? Or do you want pizazz?  What do you think? Anxious to hear.... does it matter? (I know my answer of course, curious of yours...)

I have a lot more photos of this condo , I love the before and afters.  What do you think? Can you tell now that a couch will fit on that wall?  Can you imagine yourself in this condo and coming home after a long day at work? It is actually furnished the way someone might furnish it, do you think that is a good idea to do? Or do you think its good to go minimal? I mean, think about it? Do people live with one chair in a corner? I doubt it.  Can you visualize better with actual life like furnishings? Maybe some people like minimal, and I know some have told me they appreciate vacant.  But what percentage of people do have the vision to look past vacant, and to visualize a home full of furnishings? In my experience, not many... (course having a camera with wider angle lens is helpful too :)

I think home staging is the way to go..yet in my market it really has not caught on as much as I,  (and some local home stagers) would like it too!

The condo looks great by the way!

Hands down the staged version wins. Buyers have an image of their dream home and if you can give it to them you get a sale.

Maria, thanks! I was one of the first around here (I think) that was staging even "lower priced" homes and condos... now, we have to do whatever it takes to stand out.

Todd and Danielle,  you're right... its about having your product mesh with their desires... voila... its magic.

Probably the best compliment I get from sellers is that their home looks so great they don't want to move.  Good thing I have a signed listing agreement in hand.

Great post, and I agree, a wide angle camera is necessary.  I love my Kodak V705

Lisa,  yup, that's what I have... and those pictures (after) on the right were all taken with that camera.. you can see the difference, nevermind the staging, in the photos that I can get more of the room in the photo so it looks bigger and more open.   I get that all the time "its so great now I don't want to move."  People don't realize how easy it may be to make some simple changes to totally change their environment, and the feel.  I am the first to admit I'm not a designer / creative type.. but I get the right people on my team and together we put together a good package :)

Could you help me. It's the opinion of some that crops could be grown on the moon. Which raises the fear that it may not be long before we're paying somebody not to. I am from Ukraine and now study English, give please true I wrote the following sentence: "If you need a fast cash advance loan now, visit this website to get instant approval now and receive money within the next business day."
