DON'T BE RIDICULOUS...CALL METICULOUS HOME INSPECTION CORP.
Yesterday evening, I had the genuine pleasure of meeting a fellow ActiveRainer, Ray Wilson, for the first time, face to face, in a purely coincidental fashion.
I attended a Buyers' Seminar assembled by my company, Coldwell Banker, at our Ronkonkoma location. A Certified Real Estate Inspector was scheduled to speak as part of the line-up. When the originally scheduled speaker had to bow out due to a family emergency, Ray Wilson stepped in to fill the spot with zero notice or chance for preparation.

Needless to say, he pulled it off without a hitch. Ray spoke eloquently about asbestos, lead and basement mold or as expressively as one can speak when handling this delicate subject matter. What came across was his thorough knowledge and understanding of his chosen field and his professionalism in dealing with homeowners.
Even before we met, I subscribed to his blog as it is most informative and always includes great pictures to illustrate his points. Because he travels all over Long Island and Queens, I should have plenty of opportunity to refer business and I intend to do just that.
It was quite a thrill meeting a fellow ActiveRainer for the first time; one whose work I had previously commented on numerous times. With our recent profile pictures, we recognized each other immediately. For me, it brought this whole virtual world to life.
In the future, I look very forward to meeting other ActiveRainers, like Ray Wilson, with whom I've only traded comments heretofore.
His easily recognized and memorized personally branded slogan
DON'T BE RIDICULOUS...CALL METICULOUS HOME INSPECTION CORP.
doubles as the adorable title of this post.

Jill, thats so funny, this is the second blog in a row that talks about what a small world it is in the Rain.
Hi Jill, I love this story. I'm just waiting to see whether I was able to change my jury duty so I can go up to raincamp in Seattle. That would be very cool to meet lots of folks that are on AR. Now..I'm gonna go check out Ray's blog!
Jill,
That's an excellent endoresment for ray. I'll check out his blog. Home inspections are fairly applicable eveywhere.
Brian
Ellen - Maybe this summer we can try to meet up as well.
Cindy - I've never made it to a raincamp but should be tons of fun. When are you coming to NY so you can meet up with Ellen and me?
Brian - Thank you. I'm sure Ray will be happy.
