The KISD School Board election for their Board of directors will be held on Saturday May 14, 2011. There are several polling places for voters to cast their ballots. During 2008 only less than 5 % of the eligible voters actually took the time to VOTE. Please take the time to vote in this important election. there are nine individuals competing for only 3 spots. As all of us should know school districts all across the state of texas are searching for methods to deal with serious cutbacks in State funding. Katy ISD is no different and Katy ISD has allready had to layoff several teachers and more layoffs maybe coming.
