The National Association of Letter Carriers, in partnership with the United States Postal Service, is sponsoring
national food drive tomorrow (Saturday, May 14, 2011) and they will be collecting food for families in need.
Here's how we can all help out! All we have to do is:
1. Bag non-perishable food items.
2. Leave at mailbox for pickup and delivery to local food bank.
That's it. Simple!
Details about non-perishables: Donate items like canned meats, fish, soup, vegetables, bottle juice, pasta, cereal, and rice that do not require refrigeration. Please do not include items that have expired or are in glass containers.
Fill A Bag. Feed Families!
