"Meme" is an opportunity for the Princeton real estate blog readers to find out more about me not just as a Princeton area real estate agent, but as a person. It's like an adult version of a tag game, where I was asked to tell things about myself that others may not know. Here are the 5 things about me that you may not know.
1. I was born in the Far East of Russia, where both of my parents were serving in the military, later moving to Kiev, Ukraine. My dad was a professor of English, which explains why I was reading in English at age 4 (before Russian) and went to a special English School. My mom was a Professor of French, but I drew the line to learning any more languages – what a mistake, in retrospect.
2. I got my MSEE at 22, and it took me getting this degree to realize I wanted a different path. I became a corporate technology manager and later a management consultant, coming to this country at the age of 25. Consulting was exciting, and a great fit for the A-type personality. I moved 10 times in my first 8 years.
3. I left consulting after my two youngest kids (I have four) were born a year apart. My kids - are my biggest achievement in life. My oldest son is now a Professor of Law (which really does not mean I am that old); my daughter is a great kid and works close by in New York. My two youngest boys – are keeping me young.
4. After I “left” my career, I did a few things: got a degree in Interior Decorating (which is a great asset now); ran my family’s private publishing company; remodeled/bought/sold 2 homes; got a RE license and became an agent. Other then that, I am just a “plain mommy” – as my boys eloquently put it.
5. I love to travel and was lucky to live in different parts of the world, including Italy, Austria, Iceland. I love to read and find escape in the magic of written words. I love to dance and wish I could be much better at it.
My husband is the one who keeps me going through it all, and my sister is my absolute best friend.
My AR friends made the last two moths a great adventure in learning and discovery.

Faina,
What a wonderful life of learning you have had! And I agree, three languages would have been great. I admire multi-lingual persons, mostly because the only "language" besides English that I know is Latin.
So how old are you? Only kidding:)
