Newk's, Restaurant, Huntsville Alabama
I've passed by Newk's many, many times and have heard recommendation's that I should stop in for lunch some day and today was the day. I really didn't know what to expect or even what the menu offered, but it was late, I was hungry and there was Newk's.
Things didn't start off great as I gave the girl my order...I got the feeling from her that she had better things to do and that I was an inconvenience in her daily routine. Maybe she was having a bad day...who knows...anyway I wasn't impressed with her service and hoped that everything from there wasn't down hill. Being a Real Estate Broker I understand the value of not just good, but outstanding service and that's what you have to provide 100% of the time. Now with that said, I ordered a Toasted Ham & Swiss on French bread with a small Caesar Salad & Coke (drinks are one size...Large). Newk's was redeemed! I really enjoyed the sandwich with a spicey mustard & salad. I was almost looking for something to complain about the food because of the service, but lunch was very good and I suggest you give Newk's a try...I'll be back, but will pick the person helping me more carefully. They are part of a seven state franchise so maybe there's one by you if you don't live in Huntsville Alabama.
Newk's is very casual and offers a variety of, soups that don't seem to repeat two days in a row, sandwiches, salads, pizza's and more. Newk's also cater's parties as they say from 10 to 10,000.
