When my wife and I moved back to Nebraska and decided to buy a home, our decision about where to move was more about where we could get the best deal then it was about location.  We ended up purchasing in the Millard South school district close to downtown Millard and the L stree Marcketplace. Although it was not the area, as much as the baragins that brought us here, we have thoroughly enjoyed the ammeneties. 

Downtown Millard although not large, is home to the Millard Roadhouse, the Duck Inn Pub, The Amazing Pizza Machine and hundreds of other resteraunts, grocers, and retail establishments.  Whether you like to shop at Super Saver or Sam's club- Hobby Lobby or True Value - and prefer to eat chicken or Sushi, you can find it all here.

Just last week my wife and I went and played Putt-Putt and followed with drinks and some chicken wings at Wings and Rings in the L- Street market. In the summers Millard has a wonderful festival with live music and rides for the kids.  Bowling alleys and skating rinks are not far and there are parks and trails around for whatever activities you are looking for.

If you are looking for something new- head to Millard- you won't be dissapointed.
