Luxury Real Estate Marketing: Love the Moment Part 2/Speechless Sunday

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Napa Consultants DRE00893924

We spotted this beautiful shrub of Matilija Poppies as we got off the 101 Freeway at the San Ysidro exit.  This lovely plant is a May bloomer and is native to the Southern California coastal and valley region.  It is drought tolerant requiring scant watering, and does well in most soils.  It reminded us of another Sister Corita quotes,

Love the moment.

Flowers grow out of dark moments.

Therefore, each moment is vital.

It affects the whole.

Life is a succession of such moments and to live each, is to succeed.

HAPPY SUNDAY, Ron & Alexandra Seigel

Ron & Alexandra,

Those are just gorgeous! I breaked for Indian Paint Brush yesterday, so I understand why you do what you do!

Beauty is all around us and if we wait, thinking we'll turn around and go back to take photos later, that usually doesn't happen, or it's not there any more.

Cease the moment as you illustrated!

Patricia

Ron & Alexandra,  These poppies are just beautiful!  Like you and Patricia, I stopped for a Royal Poinciana tree yesterday.  It was blooming and the color red was so intense it drew my breath away.

Enjoy your Sunday!

Hi Alexandra~

Any time I see shrubs and tress in blossom, I am grateful for the splendor of nature!

I have to share your quote with my family:

"Life is a succession of such moments and to live each, is to succeed"

Have a serene Sunday!

Patricia:

I hope to see that picture, and I have enjoyed reading your blog so much.  For Ron and I the beauty that surrounds us day to day is the ultimate in luxury, not the stuff we can buy.  In Nature there is so much peace and beauty, and that is what kick starts us most day.  Thanks for your comment, and we wish you a delightful Sunday. A

Steve,

Thanks for your  comment.  It is a wonderful plant, and we first saw it at the Botanical Garden in Santa Barbara many years ago.  I even bought seeds and tried to grow it in our Los Angeles Garden,  and I think I overwatered it to begin with, as nothing came up...LOL and Happy Monday, A

What a pretty thing and drought tolerant. How wonderful; I don't think I've heard of this one, Alexandra, so I will start looking for them.
