facebookApplications to Promote your Facebook Business or Fan Page

Many professionals are just beginning to utilize Facebook with a Business or Fan Page. I have discovered that there are many applications available to promote my Fan Page on Facebook. You do not have to be all that tech savvy to install many of these applications, since the instructions are very easy to follow.

Today, I just wanted to introduce you to three of them that I have started to use, since I was inspired to write this post after reading Barbara Todaro’s post “A Champion is Afraid of Losing....”. Barbara mentions in her post this morning that “Real Estate is a very competitive business”, but it is great to learn and get new ideas from each other, and implement a few new things into our own game plan to improve our business.

First, there is See My Listings from the National Association of Realtors and Realtor.com. Since we should not be posting our listings on our Facebook profile page, installing this on your Facebook Business or Fan page is a great idea to promote your page. To install this nice application for your Business of Fan page go to See My Listings Application and follow the simple instructions on the screen.

Next, there is the Roost Social Media Toolkit for giving your clients a snapshot of your local market area, and well as posting more listings, market trends, and local school information. To install this tab on your Facebook Business or Fan Page go to Roost Social Media for Real Estate.  Again, follow the simple instructions to install this value tab to your page.



Finally, there is Google Analytics for Facebook.  Follow these few simple steps for Adding Google Analytics to Facebook Fan page, as provided by SEO Alien.  This free tool added to your Fan page should make a big difference in attracting more fans to your Business or Fan page.

Installing these three applications will improve your Facebook Business or Fan pages to get more Likes and clients. I hope this was not to technical for many of my Active Rain members to follow.

Jerry--Thanks for more tech tips.  I was aware of See My Listings, but the other two are new to me. 

Just a suggestion to those who are not techy or don't have time to figure out things themselves.  Hire a tech expert.  They will do the job in no time and you benefit by the enhanced technology on your FB page.

Hi Mary. I love your suggestion. Sometimes, it's better to hire a technical person to keep you up to speed.  So far, I have been able to figure some of these things out myself. It pays to read a lot. I actually like the Roost Real Estate better than See My Listings.
