Hope you didn't plant your posies yet because Winter is back in Mammoth.

As I write this, the wind is howling and we are having a full-on Winter squall.

In town, we've got at least 3". On the mountain they've got 4-8" of fresh snow and more is expected throughout the day.

I'm half expecting to see a snow plow go through town any minute! Maybe by Tuesday if this keeps up.

Mammoth's snow base depth is 10.5'-19' with fresh powder, packed powder and machine groomed snow.

The following lifts are operating today, wind/weather permitting: Broadway, Stump Alley, Face Lift, Thunder Bound, Discovery Chair, Chair 23 and Upper/ Lower Panorama Gondola.

Lifts are open 8am-3pm daily. Go to the Village for apres-ski fun.

Think about what you just read. "Powder and packed powder" in May!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The weather pattern forecast is for this to continue into Wednesday so make plans to fly up on Thursday to enjoy Face Shots Of POWDER, in May, on Mammoth Mountain.

HI Steve,

Thanks for the email.

The storm has been upgraded and we're getting more snow throughout the day.

It's not May anymore, it's Mayvember.

If you know of anyone looking to invest in Mammoth Lakes, any referrals would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Bill
