Warning: Don't read this if you're hungry.  That is of course if you don't live in Bryan/College Station Texas!  If you do or are seriously contemplating it, then listen up. Today we'll talk chicken.J

        Bryan/College Station (BCS) has a wide selection of fantastic diners, restaurants and delis. In a short drive down the main drag Texas Ave. you will have a cornucopia of great food from which to choose such as: On the Border's Fajita Chicken Queso, Mexican fondue with Jack cheese and mesquite-grilled chicken, roasted poblano peppers and sautéed onions served with fresh tortillas; or how about Outback Steakhouse's Queensland Chicken ‘N Shrimp seasoned and grilled, over fettuccine with a parmesan cream sauce; Applebee's Pecan Crusted Chicken Salad Pecan-crusted chicken, mandarin oranges, sweet glazed pecans, celery, dried cranberries and bleu cheese crumbles - all tossed with balsamic vinaigrette and served on a bed of romaine lettuce; Bennigan's Grill and Tavern's Kilkenny's Country Chicken Wrap, hand-breaded and delicately fried chicken tenders rolled in crisp lettuce, tomatoes, Colby cheese and crispy bacon in a flour tortilla with smoky honey Dijon dressing; Chili's Chicken Club Tacos - Three flour tortillas filled with mesquite chicken, chopped applewood smoked bacon, chipotle-ranch dressing, diced tomatoes, mixed cheeses and lettuce served with rice and black beans; Doc Green's Salads and Grill's Dr.Greek- Grilled chicken in a bed of crisp romaine lettuce, vine ripe tomatoes, roasted red peppers, feta cheese, pepperoncini, black olives, cucumbers, red onion and Athenian Greek dressing. This blog would go on for days if I even began to cover all of the hundreds of amazing possibilities for great dining experiences in BCS. If you look up BCS restaurants in our phone book you will see pages and pages of selections. So when you find yourself hungry in BCS you may have a time trying to decide which of our great restaurants to visit, but whichever one you choose you're going to have a great dining experience!

Ginger, I love the diversity of food there.  We here have a pretty mixed variety, everything from fast foods to all different types of cuisine but I'd sure love to get a special Texas dish there!

One of my favorite restaurants ever is Christophers in Bryan.  All you need is your appetite AND your wallet!  Super though for a very special evening out.
