You ever think, "If only I had this..." or "was that..." or "If I was that person" or "If ..." We all make excuses all the time. We aren't good loloking enough, we aren't smart enough, we aren't strong enough, or whatever it may be. I have made a career of this. Not a good career choice. THe pay is awful and the hours... It is time for us all to look to those who against all odds did great things. Many created things that had never exsisted before and still are. We are great beings, made in God's likeness and image. He wants all for us. Isn't it time we start being obiedent to Him and ourselves?
My wife was telling me about this amazing story of a guy named Jason Lewis. He set out to go around the world by foot power only. He gave himself 3 years to do this. He crossed oceans in paddle boats, walked and whatever else that could be done by the foot. He had several setbacks, one by ran over and having his leg crushed. (I can't say I ever had that problem). He would take some breaks for a few months, but he never stopped. He had a partner in the beginning, who stopped. So he continued on his own. He missed his goal of 3 years, but he hit his goal of going around the world. It took 13. What if he would have given up at 3 and said, "I can't do this" or "this don't work" or "I don't see the HOW so I can't do it" or whatever excuse he could have come up with, and I am sure he could have come up with good ones, compared to us? He didn't though.
YOu can do and be and achieve whatever you set your mind, heart, and sprirt upon. Pray to God above for the strength to keep keeping on. YOu will achieve, it you truly believe and receive. Allow yourself to Dream Big Dreams. See you having these in your minds eye and in your heart. Feel you having these. Then be open to God to show you the Hows and go for it. I know you can do it. I believe in you!

P.S. I was at a wedding anniversary party last night at an elks lodge as I was walking by the bar and saw this above the counter, "The faults of our brothers we write upon the sand, their virtues upon the tablets of love and memory." How fitting for us. This is how we should look at others and allow the faults to be washed away by the incoming waves and leave the sand (slate) clear. Peace
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Words to live by.
