I remember the first maternity outfit I purchased. I was actually visiting my grandparents in Leesville, Louisiana. I can remember thinking, “This is it”. I could not go another second in my ‘every day’ jeans with the evolving pouch. I was not familiar with the Leesville area so I ended up at the nearest Wal-Mart. Hey, I had to soothe the bambino pouch. There wasn’t much to choose from which made me extremely nervous about the months to come. I definitely wanted to be one of the cute expecting moms who could sport being pregnant. Geez, some made it look so easy. While I was initially concerned about fashion going into my pregnancy, half way through it…I could have easily wore a potato sack and been just fine. I’ll never forget my first maternity outfit nor will I forget my journey to find the cutest maternity clothes in Baton Rouge. I formulated my own maternity fashion plan by buying most of my bottoms (pants, etc.) at Wal-Mart and then splurging on tops at maternity boutiques. There are a number of stores in Baton Rouge that have maternity clothes so if you are looking to be hip or just comfortable, I’m certain that you will find the maternity clothes in Baton Rouge that suit you just fine and dandy.
