You can get quarterly housing market statistics for all Counties. The Los Angeles County Q1 - 2011 Median Price of a Single Family Residence was $291,280. How does your county stack up?
While knowing the Median Price of homes in any particular county does not mean that your home's price will be the same but it gives you a good indication of how home prices are going in your area.
If you want to know what your home is worth or what you could list it at, call a local Realtor® and have them do a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) or Broker's Price Opinion (BPO).
Remember not all real estate agents are Realtors® and not all agents are licensed. In California, as in all states, you must be a Licensed to sell and list real property.

To find out if they are Realtors® look them up on Realtor.com.
