ActiveRain had troubles this morning Tuesday May 17. Some customers were able to login and others were not.
Looks like one of our eight servers at RackSpace was not functioning properly. When we caught the issue, we pulled the server out of rotation and then ActiveRain was functioning again properly. We have rebooted the server and we should be at full capacity now. Since 1 of 8 servers was down, that accounted for the mixed experience that our customers and members experienced.
Again, this issue comes down to improving the infrastructure underlying ActiveRain and improving our relationship with RackSpace. We are working feverishly on both.
