Google's new Music Beta is knocking on iTunes and Pandora's doors

I just requested my “invite” today for this innovative new service from Google.  This is a new service from Google that lets you store your music in the cloud and listen to it on any computer.

Google Music Beta

You just upload your music and you can listen to it on any computer.  It doesn’t use any storage space on your systems.  You can even listen to your most recent songs when you are offline.  You can create a playlist on your computer and listen on your Android phone or your tablet.

Insta-mix lets the program pick and choose from your own music selections, similar songs and artists so it is a quick easy playlist.  I wonder if that will be like Pandora Radio's way of selecting playlists?

I have downloaded the app on my HTC Evo and requested the invite from Google, so now all I have to do is figure out how to attach my eight track tape player to my computer! LOL

Has anyone here on AR been using this?  I am not sure how many people they have accepted into their "beta".

I have that icon on my Acer Android tablet and did not know what it is.  I'll have to click on it and see if it is an invite because I downloaded Pandora app....whee!

@Wallace, I am still waiting for my acceptance into their Beta.  I would like to check out an Android Tablet about the size of an iPad.  That way, I switch seamlessly between my Android phone and my Tablet.
