FINE !!! I WILL spend all my money and finance the HOTELS on the Strip

Las Vegas

PREVIOUSLY TITLES AS  -  "I'M BEGGING for work so that I WON'T LOSE ALL MY MONEY"... Since I didn't get any response, I've changed the title just to sound like I am whining  :)

Hi Dear AR members (especially the ones in Las Vegas)

I will be in Las Vegas this weekend.  If you need any property photos and virtual tours taken for your listing, GOOD NEWS... I'll be in town.

We've decided to go to Las Vegas this weekend...  It is my wife's birthday, and we've arranged my mother-in-law to watch the kids in our house...  I'm printing all the financial statements for my wife's business and we will be spending the Friday evening discussing the 2008 Budget with our partner...

So it is a business trip with pleasure mixed in it...  I'm getting my aircard tomorrow morning, so I should be 100% mobile and functioning during the drive  :)

She is not as much of a gambler, neither her brother (who is the other partner), but I am a gambler... When I say that I'm a gambler, I mean that I gamble from 7-8am until 3-4am the following day.  I sleep for few hours and I gamble...  I love the rush I get from it  :)

Generally the rush is followed by a feeling of LOSS of my money, but I take money to lose and have fun  :)Dining Room

But, I thought that I would let everyone know that I'm going to VEGAS and I may come back with millions of dollars or simple lose the money I take with me...

So I thought that If I can get a few property shoots in VEGAS, I may not lose all my money, but actually make some more (if I don't spend that money the very same night at Vegas  :)

Well... If you can get me shoots, GREAT.. if not, at least WISH ME LUCK  :)

I know that I will be walking on the Strip, with my camera, tripod and other gear to take pictures for Stock Photography, but then I may just stay at the hotel and gamble  :)

The top left image is the one I took las time we were in Vegas, while driving... It took me 30 shots to get this one the way I wanted, but after seeing it, it was well worth getting stuck in the traffic  :)

So CALL ME, if you need any shots  :)     Was I being too forward  :)

Thank you all

Met - I used to work in a Casino in Tahoe.  Every day they had the winning %s by game.  The house always wins!  The worst odds are Keno and the best are a game called Poker Pai Gow - It is a great game you can win, loose or push.  Most of the time you push so you can play it for quiet a long time for very little money.  The only problem is that you really don't make much money either.  Try it if you see a table.

Have a great time and I can't wait to see the pics!

Mehmet... I'm here to wish you luck! I won't be in Vegas - at least not for awhile ;) Don't worry about being forward - put it all out there! I always do!

Hi Met...I share your passion for gambling.  I don't go often, but thoroughly enjoy when I do!  I hope you have lots of luck in Vegas...all GOOD of course!

Hi Nancy,

We used to go to Vegas couple of times a year.  My wife's cousin lives there and our kids are about the same age.  But this time it has been a year since i've been there.  And I'm going for gambling 100%.  We will be going to a comedy show with the cousins on saturday night for few hours and then I will be going back to gambling  :)

Thank you for wishing me good luck

Mehemet:

Hang on to your wallet. I just moved form Vegas to Austin Texas. As a Vegas resident we told visitors that the do not build these fabulous buildings on the strip by paying off winners.

Hey thanks for posting on my blog

Hi Alan,

I know huh... The good thing is that I take the money I can afford to lose  :)

When you put it that way, I guess I'm one of the partners in many of the hotels since I go and deposit my money every year  :)

Mehemet, I was just thinking today (that's rare), about Vegas.  We spent New Year's Eve in Las Vegas in 2000, and watched a program with Celine Dion!

Met, I know the feeling all to well myself. Those beautiful buildings on the strip. I helped finance them. Have fun!

Met,  Good luck my friend!  I hope you beat all the odds and hit the big JACKPOT!!!  If you haven't done so already, I'd love for you to write a post on how you sell your pictures to Stock!  I have a few in Naples that might be worth checking into!
