Robert:  Thank you for your comment.  The log homes are so cozy, especially in the fall and winter when you can enjoy a warm fire.  I think spending time in the Georgia mountains and time in Destin is the best of both worlds!

Donna, these are beautiful homes.  You're right, it's basically the perception that it's not the time to buy (thanks to the media), but in actuality it's a great time to buy.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that buyers in my area realize that they're missing out on the great rate and the inventory.  Congrats!

I think buyers are starting to listen to Realtors who really know their own market and not so much the media who reports real estate as one market.  The smartest thing a buyer can do is talk with a lender and get all of their questions answered regarding their options and talk to a Realtor in the market they want to be in.  Real estate is not the stock market and shouldn't be treated or viewed as such.  Thanks, Yolanda for your comment.
