Are you interested in buying a home in Marietta, GA? Marietta is a great place to call home and is just a short drive down I75 into Atlanta. Top school districts, elite sports curriculums, and great shopping are some of the reasons why people love to live in Marietta. Buying a home should be exciting and stress free but many times that’s not the case.
A large part of that is because people are going about buying homes the wrong way. It is very common for buyers to start looking for a Marietta home online or driving around neighborhoods. They then proceed to call the listing agent for that home to get more information or schedule a showing. While this seems harmless and logical, the problem is the buyer is unrepresented and trying to tackle buying a home alone.
The real estate licensing laws in Georgia specifically state that the listing agent has fiduciary duty to the Seller, not you. So while the listing agent can treat you fairly and with honesty, they cannot negotiate or seek out what’s in your best interest for that home. The real estate industry has increasing gotten more complex over the last few years with foreclosures, short sales, HUD homes, Fannie Mae Homepath REO’s, and financing options.
As a buyer you should want full representation from a professional who can help you through the process. So if you are looking for a home in Marietta or in a surrounding town like Roswell, Sandy Spring, Smyrna, Woodstock, Kennesaw, Acworth, I would be glad to talk with you about finding that perfect home. I love what I do and enjoy working with buyers of all price ranges. I pride myself in working hard and making the stressful buying process not so stressful for you. Give me a call today so we can start finding you that home of your dreams.
