It wasn't too many weeks ago that terrible tornadoes spread across the south into the middle Atlantic states. Hundreds of people were killed, many more injured and property losses were tremendous.
Well, you won't be able to prevent property loss with this, but, you may be able to prevent injury or death. If you don't have a weather radio (turns on and gives out weather alerts when broadcast for your area), you can get an app for you Iphone, Ipad or Ipod touch. It is normally $9.95 but today, for the first 100,000 it is free.
Just go to the app store and download it to your phone, or, if you are online, to your iTunes app. $9.95 is cheap, but free is even cheaper. And remember it is only free for the first 100,000. I got mine. I am somewhere between #1 and #999,999. So, don't wait. And even if you aren't one of the lucky who get it gratis, just get it. It could save your live, or those of your family and friends.
If you don't get it on your iphone, you can also get a weather radio at Kroger's if they are in your radio. The physical devices cost $29.95 there.
