That Wasn't Meant to Happen - Enough already!
I hate posting without my pictures and I can't get the pictures to load because something is wrong with the upload on ActiveRain! 
And what is Pear-shaped anyway!!?? Everything else seems to be working but a post with no pictures? Is that allowed?
Of course when I write my rant, just now it loads on the first try.
Go figure. I'm going back to my other post and try to make it look better with the pictures!

Connie, I've noticed this lately too. Usually if I try again the picture loads. Have you tried multiple times or resized your photos?
Connie...I had to try several different pictures before I could get one to work for me today. Not sure what the problem was. I agree with Ann too, sometimes if I try multiple times it will work.
I mean really... a post without pictures? Isn't that like a screwdriver without vodka?
Like Ann said, I have that problem and usually go back the second time and get them to load.

Ann - That could be exactly why because this little picture loaded immedatly. Yes I had the problem in the past but after one or two tries it would load. I'm going to picnik to resize it.
Kim - When I hit the "enough" point I had tried dozens of times over 2 hours. I did go resize it and it uploaded quickly.
Thom - WHAT??? Did you say No Vodka?
Conrad - This one's way over my head!
Sometimes I find it is hard to load photos and I have to try it several times and just be focused on it. It can be frustrating though and sometimes I have to get up and take a short walk.
I haven't had any challenges with photos or clipart, but now since I've said that I will probably start having them!

I definitely jinxed myself. Just tried to add a draft post for tomorrow and sure enough, I can't upload my dang photo! UGH!
Oh, I hate when I get that note. And, are they really notified? Does anything really happen?
OK everyone. It appears that size has a lot to do with it. I would respond to each of you one at a time, but I'd be saying the same thing to each of you. If you know how to adjust your camera to take the pictures smaller, that would help.
Or you can upload them for free into Picnik.com and resize them there. It made a huge difference.
The "Best Laid Plans" ...as they say! Sometimes thigs just don't work and we have to resort to Plan B ... Good Job!
Connie, I get that "pear-shape" message at least once a week since I started blogging during the May challenge. When I get that message, I try again a few seconds later and it ends up loading the picture.
