
Here are a few tips to help prepare you home to SELL.
- Clean & sweep the driveway and walkways
- Mow, edge and weed eat the lawn
- Pick up any debris in yard (make yard very tidy)
- Clean the front door and entry (good ole soap and water)
- Remove any outside/inside cobwebs
- Clean off kitchen counters to make them appear larger
- Clean out closets ( store personals in boxes and place in closets)
- Scrub all sinks and toilets (all over, even behind them)
- Wash and vacuum all floors (don't forget the corners)
- Clean all windows
- Clean out gutters
- Make minor repairs (doorbell, cracks ect.)
- Paint where necessary (If you are painting entire rooms, keep a neutral painting sceme)
- Replace loose or damaged roof shingles.
- Plant some inexpensive plants (fill flower beds)
- Clean out garage. (keep appearance organized)
- Wash the Dog ; )
Make sure to clean off all kitchen counters and put away any appliances. This will give the impression that you have more counter space!
Clean and organize your closets. Buyers will look in them and this will also give the impression that the closets and storage areas are larger.
