FHA changes currently in effect...

It's been soooo long since I've done an FHA loan, I didn't know some of the changes that are currently in effect. Went to a seminar last week and found that there are no longer any required seller closing costs, no closing cost limitations for buyers and appraisals are "as is" except for any glaring health or safety issues. Additionally, termite isn't required if it isn't in the contract. Other attractive changes coming soon (by the end of the year?) will open up a new venue of possibilities for entry level buyers looking for Ventura real estate.
