I often sit back and think how much I enjoy Spring. I truely enjoy the blossoms on the trees, new growth everywhere, and grass coming up in every direction. I was a Wisconsin farmer for a while so I have had my share of lawn mowing, turning over Earth, and farm fields. I personally do not care for lawn mowing anymore, and if I had my way I would have a prairie garden made out of my yard.

I do, however, enjoy the smell of fresh cut grass, and watching others mow their yard. There is something peaceful about the process. I always think that the American dream of home ownership has a well manicured yard in the picture in addition to the home or property.

Yeah, I get what you are saying about the yard. I haven't mowed grass since I moved to CA 6 years ago. There are a wealth of landscaping services here and I have no issue paying someone else to do this work, and general yard upkeep. I get my hands dirty doing the things I want to do. Look at it this way - we have yard upkeep year-round, but you get to deal with the snow. You can have it.

Beautiful spring Wisconsin photos. We have had a very longgggggggg spring. Not complaining but my winter clothes should be long put away. Hopefully this laundry cycle (today) will be the end!
