Be Alert for Buying Signals

By
Real Estate Agent

You can tell a buyer is interested in a home when ....

- They have seen the entire house twice
- They discuss where their furniture will be placed in each room
- They stand and gaze out the window admiring the view
- They ooh and aah about many features of the home
- They say, "I love it!" as soon as they walk through the door

For most people, buying a home is a big step that takes them out of their comfort zone.   It's the agent's  job to encourage them to act once they find a house that's right.  Some agents are great at everything except asking the buyer if they would like to make an offer, and some buyers will never take that step if the agent doesn't ask that question.

Nice post. Hopefully if there is a couple they both say they love it.

That would be ideal, but doesn't always work that way :)

Good summary. We have to be facilitators and motivators, sometimes.  I like asking the children which room is theirs.

Good advice, sometimes we do have difficulty taking them to the next level!
