The Minnesota Kings men's team will open their 2011 National Premier Soccer League schedule this weekend with a pair of games in St. Michael. The 2011 season starts tomorrow at 5:00 pm Gates will open at 4:15. And, as usual, and STMA United Rec or Club Soccer member will be admitted free.
The Saturday match is being held in honor of all U.S. Armed Forces. Any armed forces member, past or present, will be admitted free of charge.
Sunday, May 22nd the Kings will play host to the Milwaukee Bavarians at 1 p.m. The Bavarians finished last season with a 4-5-1 record to finish fourth in the Midwest Division. Gates open at 12:15.
The games will be be played at 60 West Central Avenue West in St. Michael. You can check their website for a map.
The Minnesota Kings women's team will open play Wednesday, June 1.
