I have noticed something about blogging that never really hit me before. It seems that the more you blog, the easier it is to come up with subject material. It would seem just the opposite as you would run out of information, but that's not the case. I know many of you are saying "C'mon David, didn't you know that?" Not until today, when I realized while doing the May 31 Day Challenge that it becomes much easier to blog and you are always thinking about the next topic or event to share. Once you get on a roll for 5 or 6 days, things just seem to flow. For anyone that may be new to blogging and is intimidated by it, just go for it and try it! See what happens!
For the most part that is true. I do hit a wall now and then, but in the end its just doing it and getting going that helps.
This is very true, David. That first post finds you sitting there staring at the computer screen-but each post provides you ideas for the next and the next...
David:
Have to agree with you. In the beginning it was so difficult for me to come up with something to post. Now it seems as though I run out of points before I run out of posts.
How true. As you write more ideas come. Sometimes I cut it short... "that's for another post."
For the 31 Day Challenge, I've started to keep a list of blog topics. I have enough to take me through the end of the month!
Chuck - Just getting the ball rolling works, then momentum takes over.
Faith - It took quite a while for me.
Alan & Michele - exactly!
Kathleen - it is always good to have additional thoughts on a topic.
We are at day 21 of the challenge and I haven't run out of blog topics. In fact, I blogged twice a few times.
