How to Use the iPad to Sign a Contract!
Thanks for all the positive feedback! I will post a few more of these how-to's over the next few weeks.
If you have something you'd like me to cover, please comment below and I'll do my best to accommodate!
I love these "how-to" videos. Today's technology can get ahead of you if you let it! What smart phone do you prefer?
Hi Steve-- Thx for the note. I have an EVO from Sprint. It's pretty good, but I think I'll go to the iPhone when my contract is up. With my MacBook and iPad, why not go for the trifecta? ;)
Steve, how do you get the mls contracts uploaded to the pdf expert...thanks alice
Hi Alice-- I get my contracts from the board's website. Then I can email them directly to my box.net account (like Dropbox). From there PDF Expert will sync with box.net, Dropbox, Google Docs, or a couple of other places for you to import your contracts.
Best practice would be to have some blank contracts stored out there for emergencies. Often I will prepare an offer contract for my buyers and keep it out there so more of it is already filled in come offer time.
Thanks for the comments! Hope this helps!
Hi Jay- does this app allow you to cross off [delete] clauses? I am trying to figure out a way of working a counter...
very cool, is there any legal issues, i.e. do you need to put a clause in saying The buyer and seller agree that reproduction of signatures and initials by digital copies or telecommunications will be treated as originals?
I have not heard of any specific laws to that effect, Douglas. Docusign has a check box with a disclaimer like that. Good question and it may vary from state to state.
