On The market for a year - staged then sold during the Open House!

Here is my latest project-complete with a happy ending. After buying the property, renovating, waiitng a year and THEN staging, the owner accepted an offer right at the Open House. Some even asked if the home came furnished!

One little tip. If you stage with your inventory, make sure the sofa fits through the front door! Here I had to improvise at the last minute, and recover an older couch, as the Open House was the very next day. No one noticed. As stagers, we are hardest on ourselves.

Congrats, Mary! It looks great. I am sure the home owner is very happy and the realtor too.

The touch of red flowers with the beige bedroom was just right.

It looks great and yes read my latest post Always Have a Plan B..the couch from the rental furniture did NOT fit thru the MBR doorway, even with the door off. Plan B, take the Loveseat from LR and use this sofa in the LR..we are too hard on ourselves and the end result is always beautiful. I am sure the sellers and realtor were just blown away by the end results with the staging and SELLING.
