Senior Living in Seattle got a boost yesterday when the temperature reached 70 degrees for the first time this year. This delightful window closed today as the clouds and rain made a comeback, but yesterday was a nice sneak preview of good things to come.
We wanted to take full advantage of the beautiful warm day and decided to re-visit Lakewold Gardens just south of Tacoma. It was a great time to visit as many of the plants and trees were in bloom and the beautifully maintained gardens were quiet and un-crowded.
If you haven't visited Lakewold Gardens, make a point to do so. It's just a short drive south from Seattle and a wonderful way to spend some quiet time wandering the paths and enjoying the lake views from these exquisite gardens.
Lakewold Gardens Open to the public for self-guided tours April 1st - September 30th, Wed - Sun, 10am - 4pm
