You Landed in the premiere race center of the country here in Charlotte. With more excitement and the feel of the largest TV in the world, ACTION is EVERYWHERE to be seen!
So, if you have the need for SPEED, and like the smell of rubber and fuel, sprinkled with the "occasional" crash, Charlotte Motor Speedway will make your head spin.
This speedway is not a health-food mecca. But the food is such that even Vegans would be tempted; North Carolina BBQ, and food treats from around the world, with a focus on "Fried" will make a fine mouth-watering snack.
Snap on your NASCAR(r) headphones to listen to live comments from the drivers to the crew chief and their spotters.
Don't forget you can bring your own beer. A lovely aspect of Most NASCAR venues that makes BYOB even more fun in these trying economic times (quantities limited).
Then there is the fun diversity of people that attend. In any given row you can have fortune 500 CEO's and a neighborhood mechanic, or just a couple of kids with their family screaming for their favorite Racer.
Is it loud? …Just short of deafening, but your senses are going to go on HYPER-drive
Lastly, this is an experience that will be physically felt with each thunderous pass of the race cars.
Anyone who has been to a race will have an impression seared into their memory...90% positive...and the other 10% are afraid of their own shadow.
If you missed the $1MILLION All-Star race tonight, with perfect weather and cheering fans, don't worry...The Coca-Cola 600 is up next ..... More fuel, just as much fun if not more, and excellent Bubba food.
Charlotte also has a bounty of Fine Arts: Museums, Opera, Symphonies, Off Broadway, and the NASCAR Hall Of Fame. Yep... Racing and Fine Arts blend well here in Charlotte.
PS: They don't serve BBQ at the Bluemthal Arts Center, but their food is good, too!
