Oh don't worry about that Amy!  I'll make it when I get there.  I made mine in about 20 minutes from beginning to starting the wood on fire!  I no longer ask for permission on much.  I'm not even good about asking for permission.  Once Rog is sitting around that pit eating smores and tipping back a cold frosty brew, how can he be angry?  ;-).

I couldn't have said it better David!  I love playing music while I am working on my photo's and well, this all came together when I heard Adele's song come on.  It was a great bonfire Friday night.  I actually was able to kick back and enjoy it for a couple of hours.  I'm glad you like them.

It is sad Sally, but as long as Active Rain is still providing all we need, more power to them!  I will be happy to provide the marshmallows and I'll even find the perfect roasting sticks!  Can you bring dark chocolate for me?  Okay, now I am craving strawberries too!

Patricia, you are so kind!  Thank you.  We did have a great time.  I am happy that my photo's warmed your heart, although; I am thinking you already have a pretty warm heart!

Bah ha ha ha!  No, actually one of our friends puts their tree out to dry for such occasions.  Mine came down a week after christmas.  Well actually we had our tree outside for a few weeks decorated with edilble "ornaments" for the animals in the winter to eat.  It's called Christmas for the birds!  A little tradition we have.

I am so glad you like them Karen.  So, do you think I can whip together a bon fire by Amy ~Roger will forgive me once it is done?  We are going to have such a blast!  I can't wait to meet you too.

Hey Kerrie!  I would love to see Adele.  Sure hope she mends well and quickly.  I can't imagine having such an amazing voice and loosing it (even temporarily).  Glad you liked the post.  When I was sitting around the campfire and saw my tootsies on the rocks it reminded me of yours in the sand.  Then when I was putting this post together, well,... it all came together!
