Today was day 1 or AREC 2011 the 12th year of the Australian Real Estate Conference, which I was told today is the second largest real estate conference in the world. About 2,500 agents enjoyed an amazing line up of speakers from all around the world. There was an amazing line up of speakers on Day 1, probably the strongest line up in the history of the conference. Not only did we hear a rousing and motivating presentation from former NYC Mayor Rudi Guiliani and a superb presentation from Australia's greatest orator and broadcasting legend, Alan Jones but we enjoyed hearing the trade secrets of Americas Number 1 real estate salesman, Bob Bohlen. Bob shared the secrets of his success in such a generous manner, that I just could not resist buying a copy of his new book "Clarity", which he kindly autographed over to me. Bobs message was doing the basics 1. Prospecting, 2. Listing, 3. Negotiating and 4. Selling while delegating everything else to your assistant, because if you don't have an assistant, then you are the assistant. I have so much to learn, more reports from AREC 2011 to follow.
