What a relief! The world did not end last week like many feared it might! So I'm back here putting this post together and getting ready for this afternoon's Open House. And rats! I still have to deal with that pesky Visa bill! Oh well, back to last week right here on Active Rain. Here are the faves of the week:
1. Gina Chirico: Keep on Dancin till the World Ends....I Guess I'll be dancing a lot longer than I expected! Now this sounds like a great attitude!
2. Norma Toering: Let Them Eat Cake--Pay It Forward This is a post about a true class act! Here's one these buyers will never forget.
3. Rebekah Radice: My Caffeine Confession Rebekah turned our shared addiction into a wonderful hyper-local post.
4. Tammie White: There Comes a Time When It's Time to Move On This is Tammie's sensible post on some of the AR changes.
5. Chris Griffith: Active Rain Rapture Would this have been as funny if the world really had ended? Probably.
6. Lou Ludwig: Be The Best at Whatever You Do I read Lou with my Cheerios every morning, and this one struck a chord.
7. Steven Smith: How Far Do I Trust Crazy Tommy? What a relief! Our new AR millionaire didn't retire after all!
8. Jeff Belonger: Is 20 Percent Down the Solution? Would the Real Estate Market then Crumble? It's very long, and very worth reading IMHO.
9. Alan May: What do our families and friends think Realtors do all day? You'll laugh. You'll cry! One thing about Alan is that I could put him on this list every single week!
10. John Novak: Sundance and Shadow These are the greatest collies since Lassie! And welcome John to the AR Millionaires' Club, too!
11. Anita Clark: Things to do in Perry GA: Visit the Perry Farmers Market This one made it for the gorgeous photo of Weight Watcher Zero Points food!
12. Karl Hess: How Do I Prepare for a Zombie Apocalypse? Better safe than sorry. This is as goofy as Belonger is serious.
13. Kristine Ginsberg: Home Staging Thank You Gifts Kristine has written a blog that combines eye candy with great suggestion.
14. Navona Hart: All of this Multi-tasking is Killing ME! Gee, Navona! I thought it was just me! Great food for thought.
And 15. Jerry Newman: Posting Attractive Ads on Craig's List If you are going to use Craig's List, here are some important hints on making it better.
So that's all for this week. I'm off to the Wow House for an Open House. Yesterday we had about 60 people come through without a Washington Post ad. Can't wait to see what today brings. Better get out my sensible Sister Mary Patricia shoes! I won't have much time for blogging today.
