Can your clothes dryer get you in trouble? The answer is yes. Most of us are aware of the need to check the lint trap after every load and clean it out. Did you know you should also clean the vent? My dryer was taking longer and longer to dry the clothes. The repairman had a look at it and figured out very qyickly that the problem was a clogged vent. The dryer was working perfectly. A clogged vent can make your dryer work harder and eventually damage it. It is also a potential fire hazard. Make sure your dryer vent is clear of lint.
