North Eastern Arizona offers many spectacular views. This photograph was taken from the top of the Sunrise Ski Lift in Greer, Arizona. During the summer, the lift is available for trips up to the top - approximately 11,000 feet - overlooking the valley. On one such trip, I took this photograph looking east towards New Mexico, above tree line. I can never take enough of these pictures and try to capture the view in such a way that the one viewing the picture will feel just a little of what I am feeling! All of this just three hours from Mesa, Arizona.

Teri, This sounds like fun but it would be a long trip for my parents.  They are now in Colorado for the summer but will be back in October.

Hi Marchel, it is fun. When your parents visit Mesa again, then they need to take a day trip - unless they travel through Show Low from Colorado, and then it's on their way. ;-)

Hi Lynda: thanks. It is a lovely area.

Teri; That is spectacular.   I'll be heading to Sedona soon to visit a friend. Can't wait to feel the AZ sun again. :-)

Kat, I have some great photos of Sedona as well. The Arizona sun, though warm, can definitely remove the chill from the bones. ;-)

Patricia, it is, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. During the winter, it would all be snow....

Buster, it really is. ;-)

Teri  I like everything about it except the ride up to 11,000 feet.  Is there a road?  :)

Isn't it a good thing that some states eventually developed from dividing lines so you can see where the physical boundaries are located? Well, I'll take all the green hilly stuff over here, and you guys can have the dirt and sand and mountains. LOL.

Hello Terri, I hope you are doing great! Greer is a great place! Felt horrible when lodge burned down earlier this year, good things the cabins are all ok.
What else have you been up to?  Send me an email when you get a chance.  Unless of course, you are still enjoying the cool weather that Greer has to offer!  : )

Good Luck!

Hey Sylvie: Thanks! Doing really well. Mostly spend time in Show Low during the summer months, but back and forth to the valley for business and "stuff." I hope all is going well with you. Remember to let me know should you want to work for me. ;-)
