HER Office Old Worthington

HER serving Worthington since 1969 - soon in Old WorthingtonOld Worthington Real Living HER

The first HER Realtors office in Worthington was on High St. south of Old Worthington.  The first HER Realtors office in Worthington was long before my time but the HER office  was an old cape cod style house that became a commercial building somewhere along the line.  There was a hot tub business in the building that had been the first HER Worthington office  in the early to mid 1990s.   I am not sure I know which building it was anymore.

The Worthington HER office moved into the newly built building at 6902 N. High St. in the 1970s.

Soon the Worthington HER office will move to the Kilbourne Commercial Building....  the second building south of the Worthington Green.  There is a "coming soon"  sign on the front of the building now.

This photo was taken Saturday morning as the Worthington Farmers Market vendors were packing up....after a beautiful sunny morning. The logo on the sign is the old HER logo... just the HER intials.... from the good old days.  ;- )

I like buildings like this...so small townish (I know it is not a word) with on street parking (although this is a four lane road!).

Thanks Gary, there is lots of parking back behind...  the sidewalks must have been much wider at some point because High St. certainly was a much narrower road back in the day.  This building was an inn back in the day of stage coaches in one of it's many  incarnations... I was talking to some ladies who grew up in the Worthington area last week and to them the building is the old Corbin Funeral Home.
