4th Annual Chief's Run for the Wall

Chief Petty Officer's and local contractor's to mark Memorial Day

Great Mills-based defense contractor Compass Systems, Inc. and apparel provider Navychief.com are co-organizers of the 4th annual "Navy Chiefs Run for the Wall". This annual event is intended to honor Memorial Day and all those who served with a motorcycle ride to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. All riders are welcome to join the Chief Petty Officers as they ride to raise money for the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. Cost of the event is $25/rider and includes a complimentary T-shirt.

Riders will meet at the Compass Systems office, 21471 Great Mills Rd., Lexington Park, MD, Sunday morning, May 29th, between 6 and 6:30 a.m. and will then proceed to All American Harley Davidson in Hughesville, between 7 and 7:15 a.m., where they will join other riders to make their way to the Pentagon to participate in Rolling Thunder 2011.

Coffee and doughnuts will be available for riders before the start of the run.

Donations are being accepted and all proceeds will support activities at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home.

Deadline to register is Monday, May 23rd, 2011. Registration forms may be picked up at Compass Systems Inc., The River's Edge Conference Center, Patuxent River Drill Hall, All American Harley Davidson Dealership, or downloaded from www.compass-sys-inc.com.

Navychief.com will be providing t-shirts to riders who participate.
