In my recent travels to Europe, I found the city state Monaco beautiful and architecturally interesting. It is located on the French Riviera - cote a azur, bounded by France, Italy and the Mediterranean Sea. It is the second smallest city in the world, next to the Vatican. Monaco is ruled by Albert II, the Prince of Monaco. "The name Monaco comes from the 6thcentury BC nearby Phocaen Greek colony. According to an ancient myth, Hercules passed through the Monaco area and turned away the previous gods. As a result, a temple was constructed there, the temple of Hercules Monoikos." --- reference Wikipedia.
Attached are some points of interest that I thought was architecturally interesting.
My daughter and I embraced the beauty of this ancient place filled with love in our hearts. I hope you enjoy seeing some of the landscape and architecture that took my breath away and I hope you get to see all the wonders in the world that are humanly possible. I never thought this dream for me would ever come true. But I have to say, amongst all this beauty, nothing was as beautiful to me as my daughter - I know all mother's feel the same about their own daughters :)
Mothers live vicariously through their children.
To me, families are the greatest gift on earth.
I can't read French but I recognized the words Socrate and Pasteur!
My daughter Carrie Ann who drove me to see all these beautiful places with her husband Marco.
The beautiful Mediterrainean Sea by the Yaht Club.
I was mesmerized by all this beauty and wonder. If I could be with my family, pick up a paint brush and learn to paint, or if I could sit down and write about all the things I was seeing and feeling while taking pictures too, I would be happy forever!
Talk about feeling inspired and transformed into another world!!!
Love is GRAND! My daughter Carrie Ann and her husband Marco.
Fresh lemon trees and a floral array of beauty all around!
From the deep blue sea, I see a world that enfolds with amazing beauty. I hope you do too. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me, and I was lucky and blessed to have been there. I pray all your dreams come true and may you and your family always have time for each other. Never let money come between you and your family.
