Well we all know the market has challenges right now. One thing I believe is never fully discussed is how to keep your focus when everything appears so bleak! I have to tell you I have had more escrows Fall apart this year than the past 3 combined! If it werent for that I would be saying "What Real Estate Slow Down!" I do not care how you lead generate when the market enviroment is negative focusing is more difficult than ever! We go from being Santa Clause on every listing appointment to the Grim Reaper! Whether you are speaking with your database, your sphere, expireds or FSBO's the enviroment is negative.
My answer to this is consistency. Instead of hitting home runs we got to hit singels and doubles meaning do what you do every day regardless of how you feel. If you are lead generating everyday from 9-11 keep up the consistency and dont go overboard because you had a great prospecting day and dont underpeform because the day is not so good! Keep your day off as your day off, time blocking is crucial. Watch your bottomline and keep your eye on the prize. This is the time to keep those books, and tapes out to feed your mind Real Estate substance. Diet your mind with positive tools to keep you moving in the right direction. Sharpen your tool box to make the best impression you can, network with other postiive individuals in and out of the Real Estate business to keep pushing and become a counselor to your clients!
