Tornados everywhere.

Here are a few photo's of some of the damage to the Little Rock Air Force Base.

With all the damage, it's hard to imagine the feelings of those who lost their homes.

I hope their home owners policies were paid up. I want to send out a "Prayer of hope" to the Joplin Mo. families that have lost someone in the latest storms and tornadoes. I know help is there as they search for love ones still missing. I know all members of Active Rain are prating for you all involved in the recent storms across America.

Hi Clint, thanks for posting the photos.  Much better than what we see on the news.  It is sad the damage a tornado will do.  If the photos came from a family member I hope they are safe and sound!

Don't know what is going on with the weather, but it is not good. Florida is bracing for a potentially bad hurricane season while watching the heartland being devastated presently. Good luck to all those in the storm zone. Be safe!

Tornados are probably the scariest of all weather / acts of nature... I've experienced two major hurricanes in 1985 & 1991 on the east coast and several earthquakes during my years in California. But the most frightening was the tornado chasing me down Peachtree in Downtown Atlanta a few years ago when I was in the middle of changing hotels at a convention.

Good Morning Wayne,

The weather has been terrible. For us here no rain now for 7 1/2 months. Worst drought since 1922.

Way too much rain elsewhere across the country. Too many bad storms. Tpp many still missing in Joplin MO.

A predicted bad hurricain season for the south.

No end in sight.

These were sent to me by a relative who works on the base. He had just left for the day.

The wife was headed home when she saw the tornado in the rear view mirror.

Both of them "just missed it.

Hello Kieth, I've been in a couple of earthquakes as well. Not fun at all.

As far as being chased down the street by a tornado, it's something you don't soon forget.

Hi Dan, Sorry I missed your post at least answering it.

So here goes.

The picture were sent to me by my niece. Her husband works at the base and she was going by just before it hit.

She could see it in her rear view mirror.

WOW, what a sight. Her husband had left for the day.

No one in the family was hurt.

Prayers go out to all that lost a loved one or had any property damage,
