Goals Control The Direction of Your Success Journey

"Goals allow you to control the

direction of change in your favor."

Brian Tracy, author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Goals control the direction of your success journey

Efforts along will not create success. If you're working hard and going in the wrong direction you will have very limited or no positive gains in your career.

To control the direction of your success journey and career path you'll have to know where you're going and how you're going to get there. The road map for a successful career is in having written goals and using your goals to guild your success journey.

You have to have the courage to indentify your goals and to create a written plan to achieve them. Your written goals and plan will create a purpose and determine the direction that you want your life to take. Be willing to step outside of your comfort zone and into the future with confidence.

The moment that you make those decisions you have began to start to take control of your life and the direction that your life takes. As a result you will choose the path that your success journey takes and the pace of your journey.

We have to indentify the direction that we want our lives to take us and create the plan to get us there. Once we establish that direction we have to pursue that course with a purpose and with massive action. At that moment you will control the direction of your life.

Written goals control the direction of your success journey. The good news is you are in the driver's seat and you control the direction of your life and your success journey.

Goals are important in any journey we take - such as our career, a vacation, our children, family, etc. I keep mine close to me, where I can glance whenever I seem to become "unfocused" - or feel I am not accomplishing what needs to get done. Thanks for posting - I totally agree with you.

I just finished the chapter of the book I'm reading " The Magic Of Thinking BIG" on goals.  It is so true.  You might say that we must work towards the light at the end of the tunnel.  :-)

Goals to me have always been a target in my planning process.  When something comes up, it is easy to determine if it does or does not help me attain my goal…

they are so important and to have them written down and visualize is equally important. I believe you have to have a way to measure your progress.
