MARKET COMMENTS:

 

Mortgage Backed Securities are up +3 bps from yesterday’s close (4.0% coupon now @ 100.31) and the Stock Market up +41.74 at 12,397.95 this morning. April Durable Goods Orders declined -3.6%. March FHFA Housing Price Index dropped -0.3%. The Treasury Department will auction $35B worth of 5 Year Notes today. Oil is $99.52 per barrel and Gold is $1,529.34 per ounce.
